  • Emma Ward Portrait

    EMMA WARD

Emma graduated from Newcastle University with a degree in Fine Art & Art History, following which she undertook a Master’s Degree at Sotheby’s Institute London in Fine & Decorative Arts before joining Dickinson Gallery in London to work with James Roundell in the Impressionist & Modern Department.

In addition to sales, Emma took on responsibility for the company’s global art fair participation, curating featured stands such as the ‘Hepworth Garden’ and ‘Surrealism’ at Frieze Masters. In 2010, after 12 years in the business, Emma was appointed Managing Director of Dickinson Gallery, running the company worldwide until her departure in the summer of 2022 to set up Ward Moretti Ltd. Over the years, Emma has successfully and discreetly negotiated many important, high value sales to some of the most prominent private collectors and museums around the world. Emma is an Executive Committee Member of SLAD (Society of London Art Dealers) and is also on the Steering Committee of the Masterpiece Art fair.

  • FABRIZIO MORETTI

    FABRIZIO MORETTI

Fabrizio Moretti founded The Galleria Moretti in 1999 at the age of 22 in the heart of Florence and immediately distinguished himself with a specialisation in Italian Old Master paintings. From then on, art historians of international importance have collaborated on numerous projects curated by the gallery.

Moretti Fine Art opened in London in 2005 and soon became a point of reference for collectors who seek a confidential and discreet approach. In June 2017 Fabrizio Moretti opened a new gallery space in Monte Carlo, Monaco, overlooking Place du Casino. In July 2022 the gallery moved their London premises to the newly renovated 12-13 Duke street, St. James’s. This space will now be shared with Ward Moretti, who will have their own entrance at 12 Duke Street, St. James’s.

  • JAMES ROUNDELL

    JAMES ROUNDELL

Joining Emma at Ward Moretti as Consultant is James Roundell, former Head of the Impressionist & Modern Department at Christie’s London, where he was responsible for many important sales. James left Christie’s in 1995 to establish and run the modern arm of Simon C Dickinson Ltd’s operations in London and New York and brings with him almost 50 years’ experience of the commercial art world. James was formerly Chairman of SLAD and for 13 years was Chairman of the Modern Section and Modern Vetting Committee at TEFAF Maastricht.

If everyone is allowed a Warholian 15 minutes of fame, James’s was masterminding the market-changing sale of Van Gogh’s Sunflowers. Van Gogh along with the other Post-Impressionists and Impressionists remains his speciality, though Picasso is still for him the defining artist of 19th and 20th Century art.

  • MAX WEAVER

    MAX WEAVER

Completing the Ward Moretti team we introduce Max Weaver, who joined as Gallery Director. Max was first exposed to the world of art through his grandmother, Genevieve, founder of Guinevere Antiques. Under her influence, Max gained a keen cultural interest and studied History of Art and French at Manchester University. Following this, he joined Emma Ward at Dickinson Gallery in 2016, taking on the role of Gallery Manager, where he helped curate a number of featured stands, such as ‘the Hepworth Garden’ and ‘Surrealism’ at Frieze Masters.

Max has trained under both Emma and James gaining an invalubale insight into the modern art market and is excited for the new challenge at Ward Moretti.

  • Vinnie Khairallah

    Vinnie Khairallah

Vinnie first worked alongside Emma and James at Dickinson Gallery for several years in 2000 after completing a Master’s Degree in Art History and Archaeology at SOAS. She then pivoted into Finance, working at Man Group plc for over a decade in a variety of business development and relationship management roles. She has always retained her passion for the arts and after a 7 year stint in Singapore, Vinnie is thrilled to be reunited with the team and back in the art world with Ward Moretti!
